History
Just Campari and orange juice, the Garibaldi is named for the general who helped unify Italy — the bitter Italian liqueur "married" to sunny Sicilian oranges. Long overlooked as a simple two-ingredient pour, it was famously reinvented at New York's Dante with fluffy, hard-shaken "fluffy" orange juice. That texture turned a humble drink into a showpiece. It captures the whole idea of Italian apéritivo in a glass.
