This Privacy Policy explains what information the Mixlio app ("Mixlio", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Mixlio is operated by Kemal Can Sarı (Türkiye). If you have any questions, contact us at support@mixlio.app.

01Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier and, where you allow it, your name and email address. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
  • Taste profile. The answers you give in the taste questionnaire, including the spirits you like, used to build and improve your recommendations.
  • Menu photos. Photos of menus you choose to scan. These are stored securely and processed to identify the drinks on the menu (see “Third parties” below).
  • Usage data. Records of your scans, the cocktails you rate or mark as ordered, your saved recipes and recipe notes, and how many scans you have used, so the app can work and enforce your plan.
  • App analytics and crash reports. Which screens you open and actions such as starting a scan or a purchase, your app version and device type, and reports when the app crashes. These are linked to your Mixlio account so we can see what works and fix problems.
  • Subscription status. Whether you have an active Premium subscription and when it renews or expires. Payments are handled by Apple. We never receive or store your card details.

02How we use your information

  • To provide the core features: reading menus, generating recommendations, and keeping your scan history.
  • To operate your account and, for free accounts, to count your remaining free scans.
  • To manage your Premium subscription and entitlement.
  • To understand how the app is used and to find and fix crashes.
  • To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

03Third parties we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run Mixlio. We share only what is needed for each to do its job:

  • Apple & Google: sign-in.
  • Anthropic (Claude): processes your menu photos to read the drinks listed on them. Photos are sent for this purpose only.
  • RevenueCat: manages subscription status on our behalf.
  • PostHog (EU): app analytics and crash reports.
  • Amazon Web Services & Cloudflare: hosting, storage, and content delivery.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts visits to this website (pages viewed, the site you came from, country and device type). It uses no cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other sites.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

04Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and associated menu images, except where we are required to keep limited records (for example, to comply with tax or legal obligations, or to honour an active subscription still being billed by Apple).

05Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can delete your account from within the app at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as Türkiye's KVKK or the GDPR. To make a request, email support@mixlio.app.

06Children

Mixlio is intended for users who are of legal drinking age in their country and is not directed to children.

07Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
